Abstract

This paper discusses the issue of human right and developmentin the context of the displacement and resettlement of the people affectedby the development project of the Cochin International Airport Limitedin Kerala, India. It points out the violations of the human rights involvedin the displacement of the project-affected people and the adverse impactof resettlement on the life of the resettled people.
