Abstract

Big data enables an organization to gain a much greaterunderstanding of their user and customer base, theiroperations and supply chain, even their competitive orregulatory environment. Due to the rapid proliferation ofonline activities and the recent proliferation of connectedmobile devices more customer touch points have turnedelectronic. Additionally temporal and moving data, in all itsvariant forms, might help boost efficiencies or scale downthe cost of labor and other resources. The advancements inlocation awareness devices allows moving objects to track itsmovement paths with GPS traces, and users can manage their
travel experiences on a web map and share travel knowledgeamong each other. Spatio-temporal data evaluation is vital formany applications relating to transportation infrastructure,supply chain logistics, tracking of customer tastes andpersonalized product advertisements. The spatio-temporal data
generated from the trace of an object in motion is basically abig data to be managed in a special way and can be productivelyutilized for realizing personalized CRM.
